I am selling a pair of antique violins from my great grandfather's collection. These are antique violins from Nicolo Amati.
The first violin measures 22 inches in length and 7 1/2 inches at its widest part. There appears to be a hairline crack on the left f-hole, measuring about 1 inch. However, the crack is superficial and does not go through the wood. No other cracks or seperations are found. New strings and a new bridge were recently installed. No other modifications were made. Bow and case included.
The second violin measures 23 1/2 inches in length and 8 inches at its widest part. Some of the varnish was removed from the back of the violin. New strings and a new bridge were recently installed. No other modifications were made. Unhaired bow/case included.
