It was October 2005 when I bought my current violin.
It was originally 4,000pesos, it just so happened that JB music is on sale, that is why I got it for only 3,000 pesos. It has encountered numerous performances, recordings, and weddings. So, consider it a bargain, kasi, when I checked out a possible violin that I would replaced, I realized a 28,000 worth of violin, also sounded as my current violin.. But I'm still scouting for a cheaper yet best enough for me to expand my horizons in terms of my musical abilities.
here are some specs:
1. customized lowered bridge (which makes the sound louder, and kinda fuller, but not that full, because of the wood used)
2. green rectangular case
3. new bow
4. Clarity rosin. (a hypo-allergenic rosin)
5. Red label strings
