· You will review Bond Mathematics and Probability Distributions from a first principles perspective.
· You will be introduced to the notion of Value-at-Risk (VaR) and actually perform calculations to obtain VaR.
· You will be introduced to the notion of Conditional Value-at-Risk (C-VaR) and actually perform calculations to obtain C-VaR.
· You will examine the advantages and disadvantages of VaR, C-VaR and alternative risk measures.
· You will be exposed to the different types and sources of Financial Market Risk.
