possibly..the last obra maestra of nena saguil thats why the painting took her so long to paint...89-93 ..in my opinion...this painting is special as it was the LAST painting. if you are an artist and you are sick and dying...what will you paint? in my opinion (my opinion as it will be very difficult to prove) madam nena saguil opted to see her death as positively as one could wish for...hence her quotation was from the later part of the book of REVELATIONS for a new beginning ...a chance to see "a new heaven and a new earth" . this painting had been shipped back to manila from france and was part of several paintings distributed to the heirs of nena saguil in manila..certificate of authenticity signed by one of the heirs. email or text for more details. |
